History

Since 1949 the Garcia family continues to make our customers and guests feel at home. It began when our grandfather, Augustine Garcia, and our parents, Manuel and Marie, purchased property and built the Delta Bar. We are sure you are wondering how the name "Delta" came to be! The original building was built parallel to the highway, and an unusual triangular-shaped building resulted.

Our grandfather recognized the shape like the Greek delta sign, and so the Delta Bar was christened. Since then the bar has been added on to in every direction. The delta shape has vanished externally.

Our parents worked hard to make this neighborhood bar successful, and were able to send all six of us to college. We were raised with the familiar sounds of clinking glasses and friendly conversations. Many businesses have since evolved from this bar, the Inn being one of them.
The main building of the Inn, where the current office is, was the home of our parents. In 1991, the family decided to build the 10 suites that now provides a place of luxurious rest for our guests
A stroll through our many gardens, cocktails on the bar patio, flowers from our flower shop, champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries delivered to your room from our restaurant, - special occasions begin at the Inn at the Delta.
